80's baby Fantasia Barrino has been making headlines ever since her win on the third season of American Idol in 2004. Her debut single, I Believe, hit number one on the Billboard charts. Fantasia also can brag of releasing platinum & gold hits, as well as being nominated three times for a Grammy award in 2006. And dare me to not mention her role as Celie in the Broadway play, The Color Purple.
Fantasia's words are softly spoken, but when it comes to singing, her voice is grande. Girlfriend was definitely on top of her game and considered to be one of America's sweethearts.
Forward the tape to the year 2009, when it was reported that Fantasia entered a T-Mobile store and laid eyes on who was soon to be her next 'baby daddy', Mr. Antwaan Cook, husband of Mrs. Paula Cook. Allegedly, Mr. Cook convinced Fantasia that he and his wife were separated, but what else would a married man tell a beautiful, successful and single young woman, who is obviously showing interest in getting to know him further?
Now I will be the first, well maybe not the first, but I will be one to admit that Mr. Cook is gentle on the eyes. Could he be worth the mess that Fantasia has found herself drowning in? I seriously doubt it.
Mr. Cook has been adamant about the fact that he did not commit adultery against his wife, convincing Fantasia that he had already been officially separated from his wife, Paula Cook. A love affair between Fantasia and Antwaan followed, resulting in a child born out if wedlock.
Hell hath no fury like a woman whose been scorned. When Mrs. Cook got wind of her husband's affair, she was a tad bit upset, to say the least. Through the wire we learned that her intent was to sue Fantasia for sleeping with her husband, which is an active law in the state of N. Carolina where the Cook's reside. All the while, Mr. Cook maintained his innocence by sticking to his story that he and his wife were definitely separated when his relationship with Fantasia began.
Fast forward once more to more recent weeks. Fantasia has given birth to her beautiful baby boy, Dallas and it seems that she will continue her life as a single mom. According to reports, Mr. and Mrs. Cook are considering putting all of this mess behind them and reconciling their marriage. Mrs. Cook is still planning to sue Fantasia.

1. Do you feel that the Cook's are in cahoots in the plan to sue Fantasia Barrino?
2. Do you feel that Paula Cook should still be able to sue Fantasia, if in fact Mr. and Mrs. Cook reconcile their marriage, or if it is proven that he was untruthful to Fantasia about being separated?
